Yesterday we spent some time with friends picking blueberries in Temecula.
It was very hot so the kids didn't last long, but it was fun. The kids discovered that the best berries were buried down deep into the bush.
Samantha found the bushes with the sweetest berries.
Amelia loved stealing berries out of the bucket or eating them off the ground. Her little lips and mouth were blue with juice dripping from them. She is definitely a fan of the blueberry.

Paige had fun playing with friends from our school group. I just love her blue vans tennis shoes. I think I might have to get some for Amelia.
After we picked we headed off to a really nice park, with lots of shade, for a picnic and some mommy talk. Lots of fun.
I am going to turn our blueberries into a cobbler in the morning. It is way to hot to turn the oven on right now plus I have no vanilla ice cream in the house. Is it legal to eat cobbler without ice cream on top????
