One Month Between Posts Isn't That Bad....

O.K., yes, I have been a bad blogger this summer.  To busy having fun I guess.

Enjoying the lazy days of summer.

Between swimming and going to the beach I have been trying to plan for our next school year.  I went to our annual home school convention and spent way to much money but am so excited for this next year.  I think it will be our best one yet!
Samantha will be attending a classical academy one day a week this next year and is very excited to learn Latin.  This is how I know she is definitely more like her Dad.  You couldn't pay me to learn Latin, however, my daughter was SO EXCITED when she got her books.  That kid sure does love to learn:)
We went to our towns 4th of July Parade this year also.  Levi said he loved America's Birthday Party! He also loved seeing his first fireworks display.

Paige turned 7 last week and we celebrated with a big party at Chuck E Cheese.  She said it was her best party ever!  Except when Chucky came out.  She is still not a fan of him.  She hid under the table until he left.  I had to tell Chucky to take a hike.  Sorry big guy:)

Levi has learned to swim this summer.  He now dives off the rocks in the deep end.  People are always amazed at how fast he has learned English and how well he has adjusted to our family.  I give all the credit to God for that one.  Other than the fact that he called 911 this morning, just to see if it worked, this kid is a complete joy.  By the way, he found out it did:(
We just turned in our six month post placement reports for Levi and Amelia.  They have added so much joy to our family.  Our little Ethiopian princess is growing so much.  She has gotten four teeth, uses lots of words and can point to her eyes, nose, ears, etc..  They both are learning so fast.  It is so much fun to watch!
I will try and be a better blogger over the next month.  However, if I am absent, please know that I am off having a great time with the family!  Enjoy your August!!!!
