Let The Games Begin!

It seems we have another pitcher on our hands.
He is doing great and loving it.  Of course, it also means more nail biting for me.  If only I could be as calm as my kids.

Makes me cry to think that this little boy was sitting in an orphanage wating for a family only 14 months ago.  Today he is pitching in his first Little League game.  Unbelievable!
Here is his favorite cheerleader with donut crumbs smeared all over her face, her beloved bubbles in her hands, and her Daddy holding her close.  No wonder she looks so happy.

Baseball has officially begun.  Zach (19) was going to run the snack bar because he was having a hard time finding a job, but then, he found one.  Full time with good pay.  He is taking a gap year right now and starts college in August so we are thrilled he is making lots of money.  Unfortunately, that left no one to run the snack bar with only a few days notice.  So, guess what? Yep, along with having seven kids, managing a team, home schooling all of them, and everything else, our family is running the snack bar.  I thought it was going to be awful, however, the kids have risen to the occasion and are doing a great job.  Another mom does all the shopping so I am left to schedule shifts and thankfully I have many volunteers.  It pays to be nice to people, then they will help you out when you need it:)

So...life is crazy busy once again, but we are all having a great time.  Life is good:)

GO LEVI! That's awesome. What a great opporunity for him. Love it!

And you know what they say about busy people? They're the ones to ask for something to be done. It'll get done :) Have fun with it while you are at it!
